I have always had a love for animals my whole life. Growing up in Orange County, California, I have had dogs, cats, horses, turtles, you name it, I’ve had it. The thought of breeding dogs was always a huge interest to me. After having my two sons, I decided it was time to pursue it. I searched for a breed that would fit in with our family and hopefully many other families. I did a lot of research on many breeds taking into account that my youngest son had asthma. A friend of mine had a Havanese and after hearing about some of their qualities, including being hypo-allergenic, I started to focus my attention on this particular breed. I asked my sister Renay if she was interested in coming along with me for a new adventure in life and she was thrilled to do so! We purchased our first two Havanese in august of 2004 and the rest is History!!
I told myself going into this, I would want to make sure that we were taking two amazing dogs and making puppies that surpassed the standards. I do not settle for less. So that is what we have done. Havanese are incredible, and we want to keep it that way. Our dogs are health checked annually and have wonderful genes. We want to insure that when a family purchases one of our puppies, they are getting one of the best Havanese possible. We breed for health, confirmation, personality, and of course good looks!!
We usually have two litters a year, making sure that our “mammas” are comfortable and everything turns out perfect. We are NOT a kennel. We only have our four dogs, and they are spoiled rotten!!! We love them so much. . All our puppies are literally born in our home, and raised in our home. My two wonderful boys hold them and love them on a daily basis so by the time they come home to their forever homes they are VERY socialized. We buy crates and start the crate training process with all the puppies around 6-7 weeks of age. We feel that if the puppy goes home already sleeping through the night in a crate it takes a lot of pressure off of the puppy and the new family. All puppies also have their first set of shots, de-wormed, dew-claws removed, and we micro-chip most of our puppies unless the family does not want it, and all of our puppies come with a genetic heath guarantee We sell our puppies on a spay/neuter contract. That just means that as soon as you give proof of the spay/neuter, you get the pups AKC paperwork. I do realize that some of you are interested in showing/breeding. We do take everything on a case to case basis. So if you are interested in a show/breed puppy, please let us know. The father of our litters comes from amazing lines. His father, grand-father, and his uncle are all champions. We do not show our dogs, do to a lack of time in our schedules during weekends.
Please take a look at our web site, if you have any questions email us or call us anytime. We love talking about our babies and answering questions. I hope you fall in love, and decide to add an OC Havanese to your family!!
